Terie Gauvey

Terie Gauvey has extensive work experience as a technical writer and editor. Terie currently holds the position of Lead Technical Writer and Editor at Akoya Biosciences, Inc., a role they have held since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at CollegeSource, Inc. as a Technical Writer and Editor from 2013 to 2022. Terie also worked as a Technical Writing Consultant for various companies from 2005 to 2013. Additionally, they served as Adjunct Faculty at Butler Tech-D Russel Lee Career Center from 2002 to 2008 and worked as a Quality Control Laboratory Technician at Dow in 1998 and 1999.

Terie Gauvey has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with an Area of Concentration in Microbiology from Bowling Green State University. Terie also holds a Master of Technical and Scientific Communication from Miami University. Terie Gauvey is a member of Plain Language Association International (PLAIN) and the Society for Technical Communication. Terie obtained their certification in Plain Language Association International in December 2021.
