Ken Cochrane

Ken Cochrane has a long and varied work experience. Ken began their career in 1999 as the founder and lead developer of PopcornMonsters.com, an online community dedicated to movies. In 2003, they co-founded and served as lead developer of CampRate.com, an online campground directory and review website. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Senior Programmer Analyst for Wright Express. In 2007, they worked as a Senior Programmer Analyst for L.L.Bean, working on the Data-Driven Selling (DDS) email marketing application. In 2008, they founded ZanBow Inc., a software consulting company, and worked as the owner and lead developer. Ken also worked as the Director of Web and Mobile Technologies for CashStar from 2008 to 2012. In 2012, they joined Docker, Inc. as a Lead Engineer and Engineering Manager. In 2018, they authored the book Docker Cookbook 2nd Edition. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at WEX as a Senior Director of Engineering, Director of Engineering, and Cloud Solutions Architect. Ken is currently employed at Akuity as the Head of Engineering.

Ken Cochrane obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Maine between 1997 and 2002. In 2018, they obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certification from Amazon Web Services.
