Kati Maxkenzie, MSHS, CHSOS-A, CHSE, has over six years of experience in the field of healthcare simulation. Kati most recently worked as a Simulation Center Manager at Alameda Health System, where they were responsible for overseeing the simulation program. This program not only served the clinical staff of the health system but also provided hands-on experiences for high school students interested in healthcare careers. Under their management, the program successfully achieved Provisional Accreditation from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare in 2021.

Prior to their role at Alameda Health System, Kati worked at Stanford Children's Health | Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford. There, they served as a Simulation Program Manager, where they managed the staffing of the Simulation Center, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, and delegation. Kati also developed and implemented faculty training programs for educational and simulation-based faculty.
