Humberto Cardoso

Humberto Cardoso has extensive experience in clinical coding development and health informatics, currently holding multiple roles at ALERT Life Sciences Computing since April 2009. Key contributions include the development of clinical coding products and a terminology server capable of integrating with various clinical terminologies. Previous roles include VSTO .NET Developer, Clinical Terminology Specialist, and Clinical Coding Specialist, emphasizing expertise in terminologies and software solutions. Prior to this, Humberto served as a Registered Nurse in the orthopedics department at Centro Hospitalar do Tâmega e Sousa from July 2003 to April 2009, where a Microsoft Access application was developed for health information management. Humberto holds a licentiate degree in Registered Nursing from Escola Superior de Enfermagem de Vila Real and a postgraduate degree in Nurse Information Systems from Escola Superior de Enfermagem do Porto.
