David Anthony Parham

David Anthony Parham has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. In 2018, they worked as a Student Assistant at Fraunhofer Society IPA, where they were involved in data analytics and programming work using JavaScript and Python. David Anthony also utilized JS frameworks for data visualization purposes. In the same year, they also worked as a Student Worker - Data Analytics at Axians Germany, where they prototyped solutions using the MindSphere IoT platform and conducted research on topics like robotics and IoT.

In 2017, Parham worked as a Student Worker - DevOps at VINCI Energies, where their responsibilities included system administration, shell scripting, and automating tasks using Ansible, Jenkins, and Git. David Anthony also worked with MySQL databases.

In 2018, they had an Internship in autonomous driving at GIGATRONIK Ingolstadt GmbH, where they generated ideas and concepts and integrated and tested various functions related to localization and object recognition.

David Anthony then moved on to work as a Bachelor Thesis student at BFFT GmbH in 2019, where they focused on generating synthetic images using a GAN model to expand the training dataset for a follow-up model without deteriorating classification quality.

In 2020, Parham worked at e.telligent GmbH as a Software Development Tools & IT, where they gained experience in software development tools and IT-related tasks.

From 2020 to 2023, they worked at Lenus eHealth as a Content Creator, responsible for research, creating sports and health-related content for the DACH market, translating content between German and English, implementing automation processes, and working on backend development.

In 2021, they became a GitHub Campus Expert at GitHub, where they provided expertise and support to the campus community.

In 2022, Parham joined Capra Robotics for a Master Thesis Project, where they successfully applied data-driven methods for tracking people's poses and predicting their actions in the context of autonomous outdoor navigation. David Anthony also implemented gaze estimation and proximity measurement algorithms.

Finally, in 2023, they joined Alexandra Instituttet as a Visual Computing Engineer, where they are currently working.

David Anthony Parham attended Aalen University from 2015 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Internet der Dinge (Internet of Things). After completing their bachelor's degree, they enrolled at DTU - Technical University of Denmark in 2020 and is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Autonomous Systems, which is expected to be completed in 2022.

In addition to their academic qualifications, David has obtained several certifications. In 2016, they participated in a Design Thinking Workshop offered by SAP. In 2019, they obtained a Linux Essentials certification from the Linux Professional Institute. Most recently, in 2020, they received certification in e.CoSys / ISO26262 / ASPICE Basics and what it is all about from e.telligent GmbH.
