Sean Mullaney

Sean Mullaney has a strong background in technology and engineering leadership roles. Sean is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Algolia and a Scout at Sequoia Capital. In addition, they serve as a board member at Manna Drone Delivery and as a venture advisory board member at Elkstone. Previously, Sean held positions at Stripe, where they led local payments engineering teams and served as the European Chief Information Officer (CIO), and at Zalando SE, where they were the VP of Engineering and Dublin Site Lead. Sean also has experience at Google, where they held various roles in sales tools, business intelligence, big data, insights, and sales operations. Sean has a wide range of expertise and has made significant contributions to companies in the technology and engineering fields.

Sean Mullaney pursued their education with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge between 1997 and 2000. Prior to that, from 1991 to 1997, they attended Harrow School and achieved 5x A-Levels. In addition to their formal education, Sean also obtained additional certifications. In 2004, they earned a Certificate in Investment Management (IMC) from the CFA Institute. Furthermore, in 2016, they completed a Certificate in Machine Learning (Online) from Stanford University.
