Asako Handa

Asako’s background is in veterinary medicine. She earned her California veterinary technician license in 2012. In 2013, while working as a Lead RVT in vet hospitals, Asako received her BS in general biology from the University of California, San Diego.

In 2020, Asako made the decision to leave the veterinary medicine field to focus on research. She began by gaining a variety of skills while doing in vivo work at Absorptions Systems. She joins the discovery operations team at AlivaMab Discovery Services as a Research Associate, excited to learn and grow with the company.
