Olivia Funk

Research Associate I at HiberCell

Olivia Funk has worked in a variety of roles since 2016. Olivia began their career as a Retail Associate at Eagan Hardware Hank, where they were a lead cashier and conducted inventory receiving. In 2020, they joined the University of Minnesota as an Undergraduate Research Assistant - Freedman Lab, where they studied macrophage signaling and ITAM-coupled receptors. Olivia also worked as a Researcher, playing a key role in designing, performing, and analyzing a research project of the cardiovascular impacts of acetaminophen and aspirin on zebrafish as they develop. In 2022, they joined HiberCell as a Research Associate I and an Immunophenotyping Research Intern.

Olivia Funk attended Eastview Senior High School from 2014 to 2019. Olivia then attended University of Tampa from 2019 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology. Olivia is currently attending University of Minnesota College of Biological Sciences, where they are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry.
