Elle M.

Elle M. has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Elle most recently worked as a Scientist II in Cell Line Development at Allakos Inc. starting in July 2023. Prior to that, from November 2022 to May 2023, they were a Scientist 1 in Tissue Culture at Atreca, Inc. Elle also held positions as a Scientist I at CytomX Therapeutics from November 2021 to October 2022, and as a Research Associate Scientist at the National Institute of Health's Vaccine Research Center from January 2018 to October 2021. Before transitioning to the biotechnology and research field, Elle gained experience as a Senior Biologist at the American Type Culture Collection from April 2016 to October 2017. Elle also worked as a Microbiologist for the U.S. Army Public Health Command Region Europe from November 2013 to November 2015. Elle began their career in environmental analysis, serving as a Water Quality Analyst Co-Op at the Northeastern Ohio Regional Sewer District in 2010, and as an Intern in chemistry and microbiology analysis at Eurand Pharmaceuticals Inc. and environmental sustainability analysis at the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati in 2009. Elle also held an internship position as an Environmental Sustainability Analyst at the National Environmental Technology Incubator from March 2008 to October 2008.

Elle M. pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Central State University between 2006 and 2011. Following this, they continued their education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2011 to 2012, where they obtained their Master's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Biotechnology.
