Christopher Bampfylde

Christopher Bampfylde is a Director in our Sydney office. With more than a decade of search experience, Chris helps clients throughout Asia Pacific and globally identify high-quality executive talent for C-level roles. He is a passionate executive search professional who is dedicated to building rapport with key decision-makers in market-leading organisations to learn more about global economies.

Chris began his career in executive search as a researcher with Talent2 in Bahrain in 2008. He moved to Hong Kong in 2011 to support Talent2’s APAC team where Chris was quickly promoted to support the search practice on retained mandates across multiple sectors. In 2012, Talent2 was acquired by Allegis Group and the Talent2 division under which Chris operated, Talent Partners, was rebranded as Allegis Partners where Chris specialised in search and mapping mandates within the insurance sector across Hong Kong, China, and South East Asia. Chris left Hong Kong in 2016 to move to Australia and joined Odgers Berndtson where he primarily worked with high-growth US multinationals and Australian-headquartered software companies, focusing on the CTO, CMO, CEO, Country Managing Director, and Sales Director mandates.

Chris attended Leicester University. He loves to travel and meet people from different walks of life. He is social, enjoys playing sports, and has an interest in languages.
