David Corrigan has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. David currently holds the position of Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at AIB Merchant Services since November 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) Bank EU at Revolut from October 2021 to November 2023. From December 2020 to October 2021, they worked as the Director of Risk at KBC Bank Ireland. David also held various roles at KBC Bank Ireland, including Head of Integrated Risk from June 2019 to December 2020, and Head of Risk Strategy from July 2018 to June 2019. David Corrigan began their career as an Analyst at CARRAIGHILL, an independent research provider, from April 2016 to June 2018. David also worked at KBC Bank Ireland as the Head of Credit Risk Reporting and Stress Testing from May 2010 to April 2016. Additionally, they gained experience as a Financial Accountant at Stockland in 2009 and in Financial Service Audit at Ernst & Young from September 2005 to October 2008.

David Corrigan's education history includes obtaining a Financial Risk Management degree from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Accounting at Dublin City University from 2004 to 2005, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Accounting and Finance from the same university from 2001 to 2004. Additionally, they attended Chartered Accountants Ireland from 2005 to 2008. David Corrigan also holds additional certifications, including the Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) certification from GARP and the PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner Certification Training from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
