Philip L

Philip L has a diverse work experience starting from 2002 to the present. Philip began their career at St. John's University as an Assistant in the registrar's office, where they handled records, filing, and data entry. Philip also interacted with alumni and current students to provide assistance with transcripts and other inquiries.

In 2006, Philip joined Guy Carpenter as a Client Support Specialist, working on various lines of business such as Workers Compensation, Property, Facultative, and Casualty. Philip regularly communicated with clients and reinsurers, addressing inquiries related to policy and treaty language, collection on paid claims, evaluations on reserves, reconciliation on balances, and claim documentation.

Within Guy Carpenter, Philip advanced to the position of Senior Claim Analyst and later Senior Claims Consultant. In these roles, they managed client-based accounts with large insurance companies, valued over 1 billion dollars. Philip provided high-level training to new hires and offered support during system implementations and IT issues. Philip collaborated closely with upper-level management to develop client solutions and resolve government and state requirements. Additionally, they created reports for brokers and executives, covering margins, profit and loss ratios, and other claim and financial products.

Since 2018, Philip has worked at Allied World Reinsurance Company as an Assistant Vice President of Claims, assuming responsibility for managing claims processes.

Philip L attended St. John's University from 2002 to 2006. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Sports Communication as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Management.
