Anette Sundstedt

Principal Scientist at Alligator Bioscience

Anette Sundstedt has extensive work experience in the field of immunotherapy and biochemistry. Anette started their career in 1993 as a PhD student at Pharmacia, where they conducted research on T cell tolerance induction. After completing their PhD, they joined Lund University as an Assistant Professor, leading a research group and tutoring students. In 1999, they moved to the University of Bristol as a Postdoctoral Fellow, focusing on antigen-specific immunotherapy in autoimmunity.

In 2001, Anette joined Active Biotech AB as a Senior Scientist, specializing in cancer immunotherapy, inflammation, and autoimmunity. Their responsibilities included project management, leading research teams, and collaborating with academic and industrial partners. Anette worked at Active Biotech AB until 2016.

From 2016 to 2020, Anette worked at Idogen AB, initially as Chief Scientific Officer and later as a Principal Scientist. Their work involved leading scientific research and development activities within the company.

In 2020, Anette joined CanImGuide Therapeutics AB as the Chief Development Officer, responsible for overseeing the company's development strategies. Anette transitioned to the role of Principal Scientist at Alligator Bioscience AB in March 2021.

Throughout their career, Anette has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing the field of immunotherapy and has gained expertise in project management, research leadership, and scientific collaboration.

Anette Sundstedt completed their Master's Degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Lund University from 1987 to 1992. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Tumor Immunology at Lund University from 1993 to 1998.
