Holly Whitton Kokoris

Holly Whitton Kokoris has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and development. Holly started their career as a Lab Technician at Quinsigamond Community College in 2004. Holly then worked as an Intern and Major Qualify Project member at Cellthera INC, where they focused on developing in vitro assays for wound healing. In 2008, they joined the Broad Institute as a Senior Research Associate and later as a Process Development Associate. At the Broad Institute, they contributed to projects aimed at creating comprehensive maps of functional elements within the human genome. Holly also gained expertise in a variety of protocols and techniques. In 2015, they joined Sanofi Aventis as a Scientist I, where they played a key role in developing advanced DNA sequencing applications for analyzing pathogen DNA from oncology clinical samples. Holly then joined CRISPR Therapeutics in 2016 as a Principal Research Associate, supporting the company's therapeutic programs and platforms, including IVT screening and processing clinical samples. In 2019, they moved to TScan Therapeutics, where they built the NGS micro-core from scratch and played a critical role in planning and purchasing necessary instruments. Currently, they work at Alltrna as a Scientist.

Holly Whitton Kokoris began their education in 2004 at Quinsigamond Community College, where they pursued an Associates in Science degree in Engineering. After completing their studies there in 2006, they went on to attend Worcester Polytechnic Institute. From 2006 to 2008, Holly obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Biotechnology at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
