Kevin Harper

Co-Founder, Chief Investment Officer at Almanack

Kevin Harper has a strong background in investment management and portfolio management. Kevin co-founded Almanack Investment Partners, LLC in 2014 and served as the Chief Investment Officer. Prior to that, they worked at Forefront Analytics LLC as a Portfolio Manager from 2010 to 2013, where they were responsible for hedge fund due diligence, asset allocation construction, risk management, and investor education. Kevin also worked as a Portfolio Manager at GKFO, a family office catering to ultra high net worth clients, from 2010 to 2013, where they were involved in asset allocation design, risk analysis, trading, and portfolio optimization. Before that, they worked at Drexel Hamilton Asset Management as a Portfolio Manager from 2007 to 2009. Kevin also held the position of Managing Director at Endowment Capital from 2003 to 2007, and as Vice President and Assistant Portfolio Manager at Downtown Associates from 1999 to 2003. Kevin started their career as a Research Analyst at the University of Pennsylvania, Office of Investments, where they built asset allocation simulation models and met with potential hedge fund, venture capital, and private equity managers in 1998 and 1999.

Kevin Harper completed their education in a chronological order. From 1995 to 1998, they attended the University of Pennsylvania, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry. During the same period, they also attended The Wharton School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Kevin Harper then pursued further education and from 2006 to 2008, they attended The Wharton School again, this time completing an Executive Program to obtain a Master of Business Administration degree.
