Tammy Lai

Tammy Lai has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Tammy currently serves as the Director of Education at Alonzo King LINES Ballet. Prior to this, they worked as an Independent Consultant, where they designed curriculum for online courses and conducted research for various organizations. Tammy also worked as the Chief Operating Officer at the Foundation for Justice and Peace. Earlier in their career, they held positions at the Applied Wisdom Institute, Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, Education Pioneers, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Southlands Schools International, and Biola Youth Academics. Tammy'sroles during these years included directing online education, course development, and project management, program coordination, consultation, teaching, and department head positions.

Tammy Lai completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics at Biola University from 1996 to 2000. Following that, they pursued an Associate's Degree and Professional Designation in Fashion/Apparel Design at FIDM from 2000 to 2001. Later, in 2014 to 2016, Tammy Lai earned their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with concentrations in Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Enterprise Risk Management from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including IPEDs Keyholder Efficiencies from the Association for Institutional Research (AIR) in June 2021, Social-Behavioral-Educational Researchers from CITI Program, A Division of BRANY in March 2021, and Researcher from ORCID in May 2020.
