Rudabeh Meskarian

Rudabeh Meskarian has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Rudabeh is currently the Head of Data Science at AlphaLayer since September 2021, previously serving as a Data Science Manager at the same company since May 2019. Prior to AlphaLayer, Rudabeh was a Data Science Manager at AltaML starting in May 2019.

Before their roles in data science management, Rudabeh worked as a Lecturer in Operational Research at the University of Southampton from September 2017 to December 2018. Rudabeh also gained experience as a Data Scientist at NIHR CLAHRC Wessex between April 2015 and September 2017.

Rudabeh began their career as an Operational Research Analyst at the Government Operational Research Services from June 2014 to April 2015. Rudabeh then held a research fellowship position at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) from July 2013 to March 2014.

Their earlier work experience includes being an EPSRC Doctoral Prize Research Fellow at the School of Mathematics, University of Southampton from October 2012 to June 2013. Rudabeh also had a work experience opportunity at Deloitte in June 2005.

Rudabeh Meskarian has a strong educational background in the field of finance and risk management. In 2005, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Investment and Financial Risk Management from Bayes Business School. Rudabeh furthered their education at the University of Southampton, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Operational Research and Finance in 2009. Rudabeh Meskarian later pursued a Ph.D. in Stochastic Programming Models and Methods for Portfolio Optimization and Risk Management at the same university, completing their doctoral studies in 2012.
