Vladimir Trifonov

Vladimir Trifonov is a Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Altos Labs since September 2023. Previously, Vladimir held the position of Principal Scientist at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson from January 2021 to September 2023. Prior to that, Vladimir served as Principal Scientist/Senior Data Science Expert at GNF from July 2012 to January 2021. Vladimir's research has included a focus on computational and systems biology at Columbia University, where roles included Associate Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow from 2011 to 2011 and 2008 to 2011, respectively. Additionally, Vladimir worked as a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois, Chicago, and engaged in research at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. Vladimir earned a PhD in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin in 2006.
