Dan Podlogar

Dan Podlogar has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Dan currently holds the position of R&D Director at Alvaria, Inc. Prior to this role, they worked as a Consulting Engineer and Technical Lead at the same company.

Before joining Alvaria, Inc., Dan worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) for four years. During this time, they served as a Senior Solutions Architect and was a Member of ASUGA Board of Directors for the Aspect Software User Group Association. Dan also held the role of Consulting Engineer at Aspect Software, where they built, tested, and deployed scalable software products. Dan later became a Senior Principal Engineer and was involved in analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, and modifying software components.

Dan's earlier experience includes working at Concerto Software as a Senior Technical Support Engineer, at Davox Corporation as a Senior Technical Support 2nd Level, and at Sensormatic as a Technical Support Engineer Level III. Dan began their career in the United States Air Force as a Staff Sergeant and specialized in Communications and Navigations.

Dan Podlogar earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Technology with a focus on Programming from Kaplan University in 2010. Dan also obtained an Associate's degree in Applied Science from the Community College of the Air Force, specializing in Avionics Technology and Information Systems Technology, which they completed between 1995 and 1998. In terms of certifications, Dan has achieved the following qualifications: AWS Certified Alexa Skill Builder - Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2019, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from AWS in December 2019, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional (SAP) from Amazon Web Services in November 2018, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services in November 2018, and AWS Certified Developer - Associate from AWS in April 2020.
