Marco de Vos

Marco de Vos has extensive experience in the field of information security. Marco is currently the Vice President of Information Security at Alvaria, Inc., where they are responsible for driving the information security program on an enterprise level. Previously, they worked at Aspect Software as the Director of Information Security, overseeing the enterprise-wide information security program and ensuring compliance with various security certifications. Before that, Marco held the position of Senior Global IT Security, Risk & Compliance Manager at Brambles, where they were responsible for the governance, strategy, and roadmap of the IT Risk Program. Marco has also worked as an advisor to the board at Fortress Information Security, an information security and privacy consultant at eFortresses, a corporate security officer at NIBC Bank, and an IT security and risk manager at Nederlandse Spoorwegen and Rabobank Nederland. Early in their career, Marco worked as an IT security manager/architect at Orange and as a PKI security consultant at Taskforce PKIgovernment. Throughout their career, Marco has demonstrated their expertise in driving compliance, implementing security measures, and managing audits and risks.

Marco de Vos completed a Master of Science degree in IT (Information Security) from the University of Liverpool, from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Information Technology from the Open Universiteit, from 1998 to 2000.
