Bianca Gefen-Gamarnik

Bianca Gefen-Gamarnik has worked in the field of analytical chemistry since 1991. Bianca began their career as a Research Engineer at ARO, Volcani Center, where they conducted the analysis of food juices, concentrates, fish, etc. by GC, HPLC, NMR (outsourcing), spectrophotometry and spectrometric determination of authenticity of food products by site-specific deuterium NMR. In 1995, they joined Lycored Bio (ex. Bio-Dar) as a Senior Analyst, where they conducted HPLC & spectrophotometric analysis of vitamins, drugs, herbals, minerals and food additives and developed & optimized methods. In 1999, they moved to CTS as Head of Final Products Team in the QC-Department, where they worked on planning the team, developing & validating HPLC-methods of drug analysis (GMP) and troubleshooting analytical instruments. In 2001, they joined InSight Biopharmaceuticals LTD. as an Analytical R&D Specialist, where they worked on method development, optimization & validation and troubleshooting of analytical instruments and CMO-Outsourcing. In 2017, they moved to Metabolic Insights Ltd. as an Analytical Chemistry Researcher in the Chemistry Department. In 2019, they joined KinBio as an Analytical Chemistry Researcher in the RnD & QC Department, where they conducted analytical methods development, optimization & validation and troubleshooting of analytical instruments. Currently, they are the Head Of Analytics at Amai Proteins.

Bianca Gefen-Gamarnik obtained a M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry from Kishinev State University between 1980 and 1985. Her field of study was Analytical Chemistry.
