The executive team at Amarin has a lot of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. The CEO, Dr. Fares, has worked with companies such as THEODON and Merck. He has also been involved in commercial leadership roles for atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases. The Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Ghalib, has also worked for Merck in the past and has experience in Emerging Markets. Furthermore, the team has experience in Corporate Affairs and Legal fields from working at Mainstay Medical International plc. Lastly, all members of the executive team have received education from prestigious universities such as ESCP Europe and Trinity College Dublin.
