Patrick Damon began their career at American Family Insurance as a Marketing Technician from May 1998 to December 2004. In this position, they supported the Project Manager in gathering requirements and executing projects, particularly implementing a web-based program for online Life Insurance sign-up.

Patrick Damon has a diverse education history. Patrick first attended Madison Area Technical College from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained an Associate Degree in Marketing with a focus on Marketing. In 2007, they returned to Madison Area Technical College and earned a certificate in Fire Fighter 1 State Certificate. After a gap, Patrick enrolled at Madison Area Technical College again from 2009 to 2012, this time pursuing an Associate Degree in Supervisory Management with a specialization in Management. Additionally, Patrick obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance in October 2019.
