Canice Okereke

Canice Okereke has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Canice is currently working as a Business Development Associate at AmeriBest Home Care, where they conduct research to identify potential business opportunities and establishes connections with clients in the healthcare sector. Prior to this, Canice worked as an Author, independently writing and publishing their own works. Canice also gained experience as a Service Coordinator at AmeriHealth Caritas, where they oversaw the implementation of participant-centered planning and service delivery processes. In addition, Canice worked as a Certified Personal Trainer at LA Fitness, providing exercise instruction and counseling clients on nutrition and exercise habits. Canice also served as an Independent Business Owner at ACN, an Event Staff member at CSC - Contemporary Services Corporation, and a Driver for Lyft and Uber. Canice has prior experience as a Case Manager at the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging and has held various roles at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, including Student Ambassador and Arena Maintenance.

Canice Okereke earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, where they attended from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, specializing in Math, Science, and English from 2010 to 2014. In 2013, Canice briefly attended Widener University and studied Criminal Justice/Police Science.

Currently, Canice is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from California Coast University, starting in 2020.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Canice has obtained several certifications. Canice became a NASM Virtual Coaching Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine in March 2023. Canice also holds certifications in CPR & AED and has been certified as a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer - Health Fitness Instructor (CPFT-) by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, both obtained in August 2022.
