Alex Carson

Alex Carson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They have held various roles in different organizations throughout their career.

Alex started their career as Chief of Staff with the EKU Student Government Association, where they coordinated and managed internal initiatives. They then transitioned to CarMax as a Business Office Associate, where they handled administrative tasks, customer service, and compliance.

Afterwards, Alex worked at Able Engine as a Creative Department Intern and Freelance Designer, collaborating on web and print design projects. They later joined the American Cancer Society as a Senior Manager for Relay For Life, leading strategy and engagement in Kentucky's metro markets.

Currently, Alex is employed at the American Heart Association, where they have held several roles, including Director for Heart Mini-Marathon, Senior Director for Heart Challenge, and National Lead for the Life is Why Consumer Campaign. They are currently serving as the Sr. National Corporate Relations Accounts Lead.

Alex Carson earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Public Relations & Graphic Communications Management from Eastern Kentucky University, completing the program from 2010 to 2013.
