Carly Shell

Carly Shell has a diverse range of work experience in marketing and public relations. Carly started their career as a Tanning Consultant and Bed Tech/ Consultant in Training at Sun Tan City in 2021. Carly then worked as a Social Media Marketing Specialist and Receptionist Sales at Hair Benders Salon in 2022, where they managed information, answered calls, and encouraged sales. In 2023, Carly interned at Inari Medical as a Downstream Marketing Intern, creating marketing materials, optimizing campaigns, and monitoring social media platforms. Carly also gained experience as a Marketing and Public Relations Intern at Ackermann Marketing & PR, conducting market research and managing social media. Carly then became the Senior Director of Digital Marketing at the American Marketing Association, where they developed and executed digital marketing strategies, led a team, and created engaging content. Currently, they have a Marketing Intern role at Baker Marketing Laboratory.

Carly Shell completed their high school education at Dobyns - Bennett High School from 2016 to 2020, earning a High School Diploma. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a collateral option in Marketing at the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee from 2020 to 2023. Carly also obtained several certifications, including the HubSpot Inbound Marketing Certification from HubSpot in December 2023, the Google Ads Search Certification and Google Analytics Certification from Google Digital Academy (Skillshop) in October 2023 and September 2023 respectively. Carly also holds the Bloomberg Market Concepts Certificate from Bloomberg LP, obtained in 2022, and the Critical Thinking - Excel Introductory 2019 certification from Microsoft, obtained in 2021.
