James Neckel

James Neckel has been an integral part of the American Society of Civil Engineers since October 2012, holding various positions related to technical advancement and code standards. Currently serving as Manager of Technical Advancement, James supports the Aerospace and Computing Engineering Divisions, providing strategic leadership and ensuring efficient operations in accordance with ANSI accreditation. Responsibilities include administering Codes and Standards production, promoting membership, managing database access, and generating web content. Prior to this role, James held various positions within ASCE and gained experience as a Mailroom Clerk at Digital Office Products and as a Warehouse Manager at E Group Engage, where operational management and fulfillment tasks were key responsibilities.
