Chief Communication Officer & Senior Counselor to the CEO at American Wind Energy Association

Rosanna Maietta is Chief Communications Officer and Senior Counselor to the CEO at American Clean Power Association. In this role, she will guide all marketing and communications to highlight the critical work in the renewal energy sector and raise the profile of the organization and the issues impacting the industry. In addition, she will oversee the education and conference teams to grow revenue, reach and deepen member engagement. She comes to ACP with extensive global experience and a track record of success in public relations, strategic communications, events, CSR and association experience. More recently, she worked in the hospitality industry as EVP of Communications & Public Relations at the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) and President & CEO of its Foundation. She was responsible for driving the strategic planning for all of the association’s internal and external communications and increasing visibility for the industry in and outside Washington, D.C. At the Foundation, she oversaw its philanthropic mission, supporting and growing the industry’s workforce. Prior to that, she worked at global PR firm FleishmanHillard. Rosanna started her experience working as a reporter in Rome, Italy. She has two sons and is married to a sports reporter.
