Eileen Coggins

Eileen Cocins, Esq., is Executive Vice President and General Counsel of AmeriHealth Caritas, responsible for overseeing legal affairs for the company. Prior to her current role, Coggins served in various senior leadership roles at AmeriHealth Caritas, including Senior Vice President of Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) for Medicare and Medicare-Medicaid Plans (MMPs); Senior Vice President of Audit, Compliance, and Enterprise Risk Management; and Senior Vice President of Communications and Human Resources.

Coggins has over 28 years of experience working in public, private, and equity-based provider and payer companies, providing advice on complex business transactions, litigation, governance, and legal and regulatory matters. Prior to joining AmeriHealth Caritas, she was Senior Vice President of General Counsel for Univita Health Inc. and Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary of Genesis Healthcare Corporation. Her professional affiliations include the American Health Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, and Association of Corporate Counsel. She serves on the boards of Committee of Seventy, Share Food Program, and Casa Farnase.

Coggins earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in public administration from West Chester University and a Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law.
