Mick Broughton

Mick Broughton has extensive work experience in the calibration and compliance field. Mick started their career as a Calibration Engineer at LAND Instruments in 1997 and worked there until 2009. In 2009, they moved to Land Instruments International and took on the role of Head of UKAS Laboratory, where they ensured compliance to ISO17025 for the calibration of non-contact, infra-red radiation thermometers. Additionally, they performed internal audits to assist the company's compliance to the ISO9001 standard. In the same year, they also served as the Deputy Head of the UKAS Lab at Land Instruments until 2011.

Mick Broughton attended Wickersley Comprehensive School from 1980 to 1986. Mick then went on to study Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Doncaster Institute of Higher Education from 1986 to 1988, earning a HND (Higher National Diploma).
