Joon Chung

Joon Chung has diverse work experience in the legal and intellectual property fields. Joon started their career in 2005 as an Attorney at Hamilton, Brook, Smith & Reynolds, P.C., where they worked until 2008. From 2007 to 2012, Joon served as a Patent Counsel at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. Joon then joined Kim & Chang in 2012 as an Attorney/Foreign Legal Consultant, specializing in intellectual property practices. After five years at Kim & Chang, Joon moved to Amicus Therapeutics in 2017, where they held various roles including Director, Senior Director, and currently serves as the Vice President of Legal/IP since July 2021.

Joon Chung received a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Oberlin College, where they studied from 1991 to 1995.
