Tiago Sousa

Tiago Sousa has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Tiago is currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Amplemarket since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Engineer at Onfido from September 2021 to February 2022, where they also held the position of Software Architect from February 2020 to February 2022. Before joining Onfido, Tiago worked at Talkdesk as a Principal Engineer from January 2018 to February 2020, and as a Talkdesker from July 2012 to February 2020. Tiago started their career at Brisa Inovação e Tecnologia as an Outsourcing Consultant from October 2008 to July 2012. Tiago also served as a Software Developer at MakeWise during the same period. Tiago began their professional journey as a Scholarship recipient at INESC-ID, participating in entrepreneurship and network auditory projects from September 2006 to July 2008.

Tiago Sousa received a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Instituto Superior Técnico, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. In addition to their degree, they obtained a certification in Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera in November 2012.
