Jaidev Sankar

Jaidev Sankar has a strong work history in the infrastructure and project management field. Jaidev currently holds the position of Vice President of Infrastructure Project Delivery at Amtrak, a role they started in 2022. Prior to that, Jaidev worked at HNTB from 2014 to 2022, where they held the position of Vice President and Project Director. In this role, they were responsible for managing large transit programs and overseeing various aspects of scope, budget, schedule, design coordination, and construction support. Jaidev also served as the Office Professional Development Manager, focusing on the training and professional development of young professionals in the NY office. Before joining HNTB, Jaidev worked at AECOM as an Associate Vice President from 2001 to 2014, at Citadon as a Project Manager from 1999 to 2001, and at Jacobs as a Project Engineer from 1993 to 1999.

Jaidev Sankar earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University, graduating in 1993. Jaidev later pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from Columbia University, completing their studies in 1998.
