Amanda Connolly is an experienced professional with a wide range of roles in the marketing and media industry. Their most recent position is as the Head of Campaign Marketing at &Open, a company they joined in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Intercom as the EMEA Campaign Marketing Manager from 2018 to 2023, and as an Editor (Marketing Enablement) from 2018 to 2021.

Before joining Intercom, Amanda worked as a Digital Editor/Digital Director at Newstalk 106-108 FM from 2016 to 2018, where they oversaw a team of reporters and freelancers and was responsible for content management, standards, and collaboration across platforms. Amanda also worked on the digitization of "Off The Ball," which won Best Online Publisher at the Digital Spider Awards.

Amanda has a strong background in content marketing, having worked as a Content Marketing Consultant for various brands and companies, including UX Design Institute, 150 Bond, Bauer Media, The Sunday Business Post, The Journal, Newstalk, and others since 2014. In this role, they developed content marketing strategies and created compelling content for well-known brands such as Bank of Ireland, Electric Ireland, Mitsubishi, AIB, Maxol, VHI, Hidden Hearing, Emirates Airlines, and Tourism Ireland.

Earlier in their career, Amanda worked as a Technology Editor at TNW from 2015 to 2016, covering breaking tech news, startup and investment news, and hosting startup competitions across Europe. Amanda also gained experience as a Copywriter & Features Writer at Journal Media from 2014 to 2015, where they created innovative content in partnership with brands like Nissan and Guinness. Amanda's work on the Nissan Leaf campaign in 2014 was recognized with an award in the advertising industry.

In 2013, Amanda worked as a Press & Editorial Co-ordinator at Web Summit, Europe's largest tech conference. The company behind Web Summit, CiLabs, also organizes events in the US and Asia.

With their extensive experience in campaign marketing, content creation, editorial management, and digital strategy, Amanda Connolly brings a wealth of expertise to their role as Head of Campaign Marketing at &Open.

Amanda Connolly attended Trinity College Dublin from 2008 to 2012, where they pursued a degree in Irish Studies - An Interdisciplinary Course in Irish Civilisation. In 2013, they enrolled at Technological University Dublin, where they obtained a Master's degree in Journalism. Additionally, in October 2018, they obtained an Advanced Google Analytics IQ Certification from Google Analytics for Business.
