Caroline White

Caroline White has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as an Advanced Engineer at Andes Technology Corporation, which they began in December 2022. Previously, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of British Columbia from May 2020 to December 2022 and from September 2020 to April 2022, respectively. Caroline also gained experience as a Silicon Engineering Intern at Microsoft from August 2019 to December 2019 and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo from January 2019 to April 2019. Prior to that, Caroline served as an ASIC Design Verification Engineering Intern at AMD from August 2018 to December 2018. Caroline also worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Yahoo! Inc. from January 2018 to April 2018, where they contributed to enhancing user experiences and creating animated micro-interactions. Additionally, Caroline has experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo from May 2017 to August 2017 and as a Software Development Intern at Genesys from August 2016 to December 2016. Caroline also worked as a Quality Assurance and Automation Specialist at the Ontario Ministry of Education from January 2016 to April 2016. Prior to entering the field of technology, Caroline worked as a Ski Instructor at Snowhawks Ski & Snowboard School from January 2015 to March 2016.

Caroline White completed their Honours Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo from 2015 to 2020. Caroline then pursued their Master of Applied Science (MASc) in Computer Engineering at The University of British Columbia from 2020 to 2023. Additionally, Caroline obtained a variety of certifications, including FIT Business and Information Analysis, FIT Network Systems and Operations, FIT Software Design and Development, and Level 1 Ski Instructor.
