Tiago Mendes Silva

Tiago Mendes Silva has over 20 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Starting in 2001, they worked as an I&A Engineer at Nortel, specializing in integration and acceptance of various technologies. Tiago also provided on-site training and acted as a subject matter expert for the development of PC interfaces for multimedia services. In 2007, Silva joined Colt Telecom as a Senior Project Engineer, where they managed projects, network planning, and product certification across Italy, Spain, and Portugal. Tiago then moved to Verizon Enterprise Solutions in 2008, taking on roles such as O&T General Manager PT and Iberian TFO Leader, responsible for operations and business strategy. As of 2022, Silva is the Managing Director at APWireless Infrastructure Partners, LLC.

Tiago Mendes Silva earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, where they studied from 1994 to 2000. Additionally, they have obtained the Carrier Ethernet Associate certification from Ciena and the Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from Verizon.
