Daniel Sedlak

Daniel Sedlak has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Daniel started their career as an Executive Chef at Raised Holiday Inn in 1987 and later worked as a General Manager/Food and Beverage Manager/Executive Chef at Malcolm Meats from 1992 to 1997. Daniel also served as the Purchasing and Marketing Director at Aqua Marine Resort and Country Club in 1992.

From 1997 to 2000, Daniel held the position of General Manager at T.G.I. Friday's, where they were responsible for menu implementation, banquet production, and staff training. During this time, they also worked as a divisional executive chef at Cedar Fair Entertainment Company and served as the Food and Beverage Director & Corporate Chef, responsible for menu implementation, banquet production, and staff training for 10 outlets within the hotel division.

In 2004, Daniel joined Port Clinton Volunteer Fire Department as a Volunteer Firefighter/EMT and later became a Firefighter, responding to fires and other emergencies and participating in training exercises. Daniel remained with the department until 2018.

In 2009, Daniel started working at Apple American Group LLC, initially as a Kitchen Manager and later as a General Manager/Area training G.M. Daniel was responsible for all daily operations, including financial reporting, budgets, and employee development. Daniel served as the District Director of plaza operations at Applegreen in 2018 and then transitioned to a similar role at HMSHost from 2018 to 2021.

Daniel Sedlak received Hazmat awareness training classes from The University of Findlay, starting in 2007. Daniel also pursued a degree in hospitality management, hotel and restaurant management, as well as food and beverage operations from Cuyahoga Community College.
