Steven Garland

Steven Garland has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Steven currently works as a System Integration and Test Engineer at Applied EV - Software Defined Machines™. Prior to this, they worked at Toyota Motor Corporation Australia as a Multimedia Systems Engineer, where they developed in-vehicle infotainment systems and designed test environments. Before that, they held multiple roles at GM Holden, including Post Production Service Parts Specialist Engineer, Advanced Serviceability of Design Specialist Engineer / Remanufacturing Engineer, Powertrain Interface Calibration Senior Engineer, Engine Test Engineer, and Powertrain Controls Design Release Engineer. These roles involved leading projects, managing service plans and determinations, and verifying powertrain interface calibrations. Additionally, Steven has worked as a Project Engineer at Prosind Consulting & Engineering Pty. Ltd, responsible for implementing a stepper motor driver system project. Steven also has experience as an Electronic Technician at Injectronics Australia, where they tested and repaired automotive electronics.

Steven Garland completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology, attending from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2005, they pursued an Advanced Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Chisholm Institute. In addition to their engineering studies, Steven also engaged in music education, undertaking Theoretical Music and Music Performance, Piano courses at the Australian Guild of Music Education Inc. However, the exact dates of their music education are unknown.
