Kim Fisher

Kim Fisher has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Kim started their career at Fluidigm Corporation, where they worked as a Senior R&D Microfluidic Lab on Chip (LoC) Process and was involved in the full process of Microfluidics Lab on Chip (LoC) process. Kim then moved on to EG&G Amorphous Silicon as a Senior Research Development Engineer, specializing in 12x12 Flat Panel Glass Process. At DSM Solution (Start-UP) SNF Stanford Campus, they served as a Senior R&D Process Engineer, focusing on Silicon Wafer process and Glass Wafer process design. Kim also worked at Start-Up Panel Process as a Research and Development Assistant, responsible for processing.

In 2008, Kim joined Mellon First Business Bank as an Executive Assistant to Chief Executive C-Level Officers/Personal Assistant, providing support to the President and Vice Presidents of the wealth management division. Kim also worked as an Assistant Corporate Secretary/Engineering/R&D at MANPOWER SERVICES PROVISIONS LIMITED, where they handled contractor safety training, responsibilities, and contingency planning.

Kim later transitioned to Rigetti Computing as a Senior Technical Specialist, overseeing the manufacture of superconducting quantum integrated circuits and performing incoming wafer inspection and silicon chemical wafer cleaning. Kim then joined AMETEK as a Sr. Group Lead, involved in optical metrology lens research and development, assisting in setting up a new cleanroom, and managing the supply chain and raw materials.

In their most recent positions, Kim worked as a Production Manager at Nautilus Biotechnology, responsible for managing production operations, and currently, they hold the position of Sr. Assembly/Engineering R&D at Apton Biosystems, where they work on assembling and testing DNA nanotechnology silicon-based microfluidic devices.

Kim Fisher earned an Associate's degree in Physics from Sawyer College of Business from 1982 to 1984. Later, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Sawyer School and successfully completed it from 1991 to 1995.
