Eugen Mesaros

Eugen Mesaros has extensive work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Eugen started their career at Cephalon, Inc. in 2005, working as a Research Scientist I and later advancing to the position of Research Scientist II. In 2011, they joined Teva Pharmaceuticals as a Research Scientist II and Research Scientist III. In 2015, they moved to VenatoRx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. where they served as a Senior Scientist. Since 2018, Eugen has been working at Arbutus Biopharma Corporation, initially as a Principal Scientist and currently as a Sr. Principal Scientist.

Eugen Mesaros completed their education history with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Master of Science (MSc) in Heterocyclic Chemistry from Babes-Bolyai University, which took place from 1991 to 1997. Eugen then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry at Case Western Reserve University from 1998 to 2002. Lastly, they completed a Postdoctoral program in Organic Chemistry at the University of Pennsylvania from 2002 to 2005.
