Izma Abdul Zani

Senior cell biologist at Arctoris

Izma Abdul Zani began their work experience as a Lab Demonstrator at the University of Leeds, UK in September 2014 and held the position until February 2017. Izma then joined the University of Oxford in October 2017 as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in a short-term position, which ended in November 2017. In August 2019, they returned to the University of Oxford as a Postdoctoral Research Associate/Lab Manager until March 2023. Currently, they are working as a Senior Cell Biologist at Arctoris since April 2023.

Izma Abdul Zani has an extensive background in the field of biology. Izma began their educational journey in 2008 at the University of Leeds, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Medical Science in 2011. Izma continued their studies at the same institution, completing their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Bioscience (Human disease and therapy) in 2012. Izma's academic pursuits led their to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Leeds from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, Izma obtained a certification in Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course from the American Heart Association in March 2018.
