Amy Rochino

Associate Director, Program Management, Operational Excellence Strategic Projects at Arcturus Therapeutics

Amy Rochino has an extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Amy is currently working as an Associate Director in Program Management and Strategic Operations at Arcturus Therapeutics. Prior to this, they held the position of Sr. Organizational Change Manager at Illumina, where they managed project management and change management activities for transferring genetic sequencing products to manufacturing. Amy also led special projects and facilitated training and workshops.

Before joining Illumina, Amy worked as a Program Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where they focused on talent development programming and communications for the Life Sciences community. Amy was responsible for strategy, planning, and resource access to support product development and collaboration. Additionally, they led the R&D Corporate Library as an Associate Program Manager, managing electronic library services and implementing advanced searching systems.

Prior to Thermo Fisher Scientific, Amy worked as a Corporate Research Librarian at Qualcomm, conducting custom research projects for clients at the Director level and above. Amy also partnered with cross-functional project teams to deliver information strategy.

Amy's earlier experiences include roles as a Reference Librarian and Art Exhibitions Coordinator at the Mill Valley Library, where they provided research support, directed art exhibitions, and advised on user experience. Amy also worked as an Assistant Outreach Librarian at Golden Gate University and as an Archival Volunteer at the San Francisco Museum of Performance and Design. Additionally, they have freelanced as a Graphic Designer and served as an Archival Intern at the San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery, where they created filing systems and preservation guides.

Throughout their career, Amy has demonstrated expertise in program management, change management, talent development, research, and library services.

Amy Rochino obtained a Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) degree from San Jose State University in 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Visual Communication at the University of California, Davis in 2000. In addition to their formal education, Amy has also obtained several certifications, including Project Management Foundations and Program Management Foundations from LinkedIn in 2021, as well as Microsoft Project 2016 Essential Training and Project Management Foundations from Lynda.com in 2017.
