Ryan Miller

Ryan Miller has a diverse work experience starting from their role as a firefighter at the US Forest Service from January 2006 to May 2008. Ryan supported fire management activities including prescribed burns, emergency fire suppression events, surge support, and fire prevention efforts during this time. In 2008, they worked as an Honors Scholastic Intern - Simulation Developer at the FBI for a short period. Since July 2009, Ryan has been working at ARES Corporation. Ryan started as a Program Manager and Senior Computer Scientist where they developed custom software solutions for NASA, the Department of Defense, and other agencies. At present, they are the Vice President of IT Programs, and they serve as the Program Manager for NASA's Technology Portfolio Management System. Their role also involved supporting NASA's risk and knowledge management efforts at Headquarters and designing statistical modeling and simulation products for the Air Force and Navy.

Ryan Miller received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from the Missouri University of Science and Technology between 2005 and 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a High School Diploma from the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts from 2003 to 2005. In 2014 and 2015, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Mary Washington. Furthermore, they have acquired certifications such as AWS Certified Developer from Amazon Web Services in August 2018, SQL from Oracle in May 2005, A+ from CompTIA in May 2003, and Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance (obtained month and year not specified).
