Director, Product Management at Armored Things

Anum Valliani is the Director of Product Management at Armored Things. Anum has over 20 years of experience in product management and has held various positions at IBM. Most recently, they were the Sr. Product Manager for AI Applications. In this role, they launched a new saas product called Sterling Intelligent Promising, which enables retailers and consumer-facing brands to deliver certainty, choice, and profitability in the ecommerce and omnichannel shopping experience. Anum also directed the development of trust and visibility features profiled as a "Watson Moments" for being the first solution to represent IBM's new "Explainable AI" initiative with Sterling Fulfillment Optimizer.

In addition to their work at IBM, Anum has also been an Agile Ambassador for AI Apps, fostering agile methodology as part of enterprise design thinking delivery. Anum has also moderated Diversity and Inclusion panels as part of a Learning Series called "Eradicating Systemic Racism" at IBM.

Anum is a thought leader in the product management community and is passionate about helping companies leverage AI to improve the customer experience.

Anum Valliani has a Master of Science from The University of Texas at Austin - Red McCombs School of Business in Technology Commercialization and a B.S. from Emory University in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology/Journalism.
