Emily Xu

Emily Xu has a diverse range of work experience. In 2023, they worked as a Data Scientist at Arrakis Therapeutics. Prior to that, in 2022, they served as a Teaching Assistant at Khoury College of Computer Sciences. Emily held roles such as Teaching Assistant for Fundamentals of Computer Science 2, where they conducted weekly labs and office hours, organized review sessions, and graded assignments. Emily also worked as a Teaching Assistant for Discrete Structures, providing support in office hours, leading recitation sections, and coordinating review sessions. Additionally, they interned as an Asian American Center Intern at Northeastern University, maintaining a safe and inclusive space and writing blog posts.

Emily Xu attended Weston High School from 2015 to 2021. During this time, they did not obtain a degree or specialize in any particular field of study. After completing high school, they enrolled in Northeastern University in 2021. Emily is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Behavioral Neuroscience. As of now, they are expected to graduate in 2025. In addition to their formal education, Emily Xu obtained a certification called the Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish from ACTFL in May 2020.
