John Cooper

John Cooper has worked in the technology field since 2012. In that time, they have held a variety of positions. Theirmost recent role is Principal Data Engineer at Arrakis Therapeutics, which they began in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals from 2014 to 2022, where they held the roles of Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, SharePoint Support Contractor, and Helpdesk Technician (intern). From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Technology Reference Assistant at Simmons College. Theirfirst role was an Intern at the City of Boston Archives from 2012 to 2013.

John Cooper completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Philosophy from the University of Southern Maine in 2012. John then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Simmons University, which they completed in 2014. In 2018, they began their Master of Software Engineering at Brandeis University - Graduate Professional Studies, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
