Oscar Bachtiar

Oscar Bachtiar has a diverse work experience across several companies and roles. Oscar started their career as a CS61C Lab Assistant and ASC Math Tutor at UC Berkeley in 2012. Oscar then interned as a Software Engineering Intern at Blackbaud in 2013 before interning as a Software Development Engineering Intern at Amazon later that year. In 2014, Oscar joined LinkedIn as a Software Engineer and worked their way up to become a Senior Software Engineer and then a Staff Software Engineer. Oscar worked at LinkedIn until 2022. Oscar also has experience at Arta Finance (formerly Arbo Works) where they worked as a Software Engineer.

Oscar Bachtiar attended Jakarta International School from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. Following this, from 2010 to 2014, they pursued their higher education at the University of California, Berkeley, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree. Their studies at the university focused on the fields of Computer Science and Economics.
