Luke Monington

Luke Monington has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and machine learning. Luke started their career as a Data Scientist at KPMG in 2021, where they worked on NLP projects and implemented machine learning solutions for predicting client turnover. In 2020, Luke served as a Machine Learning Engineer at Resource Capital Funds, where they built machine learning models and a front-end GUI to predict the locations of gold and other precious metals. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Analyst Intern at Spectrum in 2019, where they conducted statistical analysis and leveraged expertise in various techniques like Principal Component Analysis and Regularized Logistic Regression. In 2018, Luke worked as a Data Scientist Intern at Arrow Electronics, where they developed SQL code, performed ad-hoc analysis, and built and maintained websites. Currently, Luke is a Machine Learning Engineer at Artisight, where they collaborate with hospitals to develop data science strategies and deliver deep learning and computer vision solutions.

Luke Monington attended Grandview High School from 2012 to 2016. Luke did not earn a degree or specialize in any field of study during their time there. After graduating from high school, Luke enrolled at the University of Northern Colorado, where they pursued a double major in Computer Science and Accounting. Luke obtained their Bachelor's degree from the university in 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Luke has obtained various certifications in the field of technology. In 2019 and 2020, they completed several courses and specializations on Coursera, including "AI Foundations for Everyone Specialization," "Building AI Powered Chatbots Without Programming," "Getting Started with AI using IBM Watson," and "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI)." In 2020, they also completed the "Machine Learning" course on Coursera. Furthermore, in 2021 and 2022, Luke acquired certifications from Microsoft, including "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" and "Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate." Luke also obtained certifications in specific areas of machine learning and artificial intelligence from DeepLearning.AI and completed the "Data Analytics for Business Professionals" course from LinkedIn.
