Chris Reid has extensive experience in the field of gene and cell therapies, with a background that includes roles such as Senior Director of Research at Ascend Gene & Cell Therapies and Head of Gene Therapy Technologies at the same company. Chris also co-founded GlacierBio and worked as a Scientist at Tenaya Therapeutics. Prior to that, Chris was a Graduate Student Researcher at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the University of Florida, focusing on ocular and gene therapy research.
Chris Reid completed a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Windsor from 2009 to 2013. Chris then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Florida from 2013 to 2016, followed by another Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences at the Medical College of Wisconsin from 2016 to 2018.
