European Marketing Lead DACH at Ascensia Diabetes Care

Silvia Dr. Kuper-Theodoridis has extensive work experience in various roles within the marketing and project management fields. Silvia started their career at the Fraunhofer-Institut für Verfahrenstechnik und Verpackung IVV as a Projektleiter from October 1990 to November 1995. Silvia then moved on to Daiichi Sankyo Deutschland GmbH, where they served as a Senior Brand Manager for Sankyo Pharma from January 1998 to November 2004. Following this, Silvia worked as a freelance Projektmanager for various healthcare agencies from January 2005 to June 2010. Silvia joined Bayer in September 2010 and held the position of Teamleitung Brandmanagement until January 2016. Since then, they have been with Ascensia Diabetes Care, first as a Teamleitung Brandmanagement from January 2016 to December 2019, and currently as the European Marketing Lead DACH. In their current role, Silvia has been responsible for achieving sales and revenue targets, collaborating with EU and global departments, launching products, managing marketing strategies, and overseeing KOL management and ad-board coordination. Additionally, they have taken on the role of CGM Brandmanager in 2022 and has prokura Verantwortlichkeit in Germany.

Silvia Dr. Kuper-Theodoridis completed their dissertation in Biochemistry at the University of Tübingen from 1987 to 1990. Silvia then pursued further education in the field of Business and Marketing, obtaining a qualification as a Betriebswirt through a Weiterbildung program at Sabel Akademie München from 1996 to 1997. Prior to that, from 1980 to 1982, they earned a Vordiplom in Biology with a focus on general biology from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg.
